How God Provides (1)

My God shall supply all your needs. Philippians 4:19 NAS

God will use different people at different times to meet different needs in your life. He used Pharaoh to feed the Israelites. Imagine that! When famine hit, He led His people down to Egypt and made Pharaoh feed them for 400 years. Remember this: When you ask God for something, don't dictate to Him who He should use to meet your need. Notice the words of Jesus:
"Shall men give into your bosom" (Luke 6:38). When God wants to bless you, sometimes He'll send a person! But if you're too proud to accept their help, you'll miss your blessing. Or if you limit Him to working through people you know and like, you'll miss the boat again.   God used Pharaoh because he's not the kind of guy you're apt to fall in love with. God doesn't want you getting hooked on anybody but Him. He can bless you through your boss, the tax man, the car dealer, the mortgage lender, or even those who mean you no good! It was betrayal by his brothers that eventually caused Joseph to become Prime Minister of Egypt. People will enter your life and people will leave it. Praise God when they come and praise Him when they go, and remind yourself: "If He blessed me before, He'll do it again" - and keep trucking'.

Egypt only became a problem when God's people stayed there too long! Don't lean on the arm of the flesh too long, or the instrument of your blessing can become an idol (or a source of control). That's why God said: "Thou shall have no other Gods before me."

PRAYER
Prayer is a trip to the heavenly courts.
It lifts the soul above the problems of this life. It's the spring that supplies water to the thirsty soul. Prayer is the bridge that connects the hungry soul to the bread of life. It has the power to accomplish the seemingly impossible. It is the weapon of mass destruction that sends the devil running. Prayer unleashes heavens potential over earths problem. It's the identifying mark  of those who will some day tread the streets of gold. For the battle against evil can only be won, by the brave soldier who stays on his knees. Prayer is the Christian's battle position.

How God Provides (2)

What is it? Exodus 16:15 NIV

God will wean you from dependence on any hand but His. He'll allow the Pharaoh who fed you last year to abuse you this year. Then He'll bring you into the wilderness and teach you to trust in Him alone. Notice:

(1) At first, you may not recognize your provision. The word manna means "What is it?" They'd never seen anything like it. It required faith to receive it. Don't be afraid of something because it doesn't come pre-packaged the way you like it. Instead say, "Lord, if it's according to Your Word I'm going to receive it, thank You for it, enjoy it and start living off it."

(2) It had to be gathered first thing each morning. Why? Because by noon the sun had melted it. Before you do anything else, go get your manna. Feed yourself on God's Word before the enemy gets a chance to hit you. Once you've done that, you can handle whatever the day brings.

(3) You receive according to your need, not your neighbor's. God won't bless you so that you can keep up with the guy in the next tent; if he's got more kids to feed, he gets more manna. Stop measuring your blessing by what somebody else has. Your blessing is determined by two things: (a) The amount needed to fulfill your God-given assignment. (b) The degree to which God can trust you with it. So quit comparing and complaining about what God gave your neighbor, and start being grateful
for the "What is it?" that He's placed at the door of your tent.

Testimonies

Shadrach was released after 3 and half months in the jail.

He narrates, "My dad and mum were relatives. They got married to each other due to unknown reasons.

My mum died some years back and I have been staying with my step mum at home. Just before the incident, God had blessed me with some money, which was the root cause of the problem. Just after a few hours my mum claimed her lost money and finally accused me falsely. I couldn't understand the situation but all in all Dad couldn't tolerate the charges and he had to put me in the jail for three and a half months  ".  His father works as a head of prisons.

You may be wondering how this brother came out of the prison. "My lawyer was a lady who was keen at analyzing issues, I narrated to her the conflict between my Dad and I which was due to affairs of his late real sister (my mother). After my father realizing that I got to know about their relationship that gave birth to me, he chose to do away with me; he wasn’t happy with me at all on top of the step mum.

But it was God; who opened the judge's mind to listen to my lawyer. It was proved that the accusations were more of family affairs than judicial matters and finally the charges were dropped. "

God's hand in the prison. " I expected to die just after reaching the prison. But in the prison God opened his ears to me just when I had reached, I was given a post of serving food to the prisoners, this post required a person to be neat as possible so as to serve the meals. This made me to survive some tough works, however I couldn't escape sleeping on the floor which as a result caused pains to my bones"

Lift up Jesus in prisons "When I looked at my fellow prisoners who were far badly off than I was, I cried to the Lord to have mercy on us, some had rotten skins, so bony and others in undefined conditions. The spirit of God inspired me to minister unto them so that a ray of hope could flash again in their lives."

This is an appeal to every one to look forward to providing any kind of assistance to the suffering people in the prisons. I pray hard that God gives me the zeal to minister unto these people despite the increasing conflict between my father and me. Please I need your prayers that God makes a bridge between my family and me. However, God's ministry has to move forward at whatever the cost"
